I guess you’re never quite ready for something like that, and you can prepare yourself with books and strallers and pink paint in the bedroom all you want, but when it happens, when this little alien pops out, your body and mind totally resets and it all just falls in to place by it self. That’s how I experienced it.
You can be scared senseless for nine months, think all the dark thoughts in the universe up unitil that point, but right there right then I promise you it’ll just take care of itself. -Not the baby but the situation. You’ll be so in it that when you suddenly wake up and see yourself from the ouside, see what really happened, this kid will be long gone into kindergarden allready, and you haven’t had the time to think a single one of those dark thoughts.
